Assoc. Toscani nel Mondo: Our association was formed to provide social & cultural activities for Tuscan immigrants, their families & friends. It is recognized by Florence in Italy as Queensland’s official social & cultural organization for Tuscany. Each year, we promote the Tuscan culture by organizing dinners, lunches, exhibitions & various socio-cultural gatherings. The association keeps in constant contact with the Tuscan region & in particular one of its provincial cities: Lucca.

Master your pasta making skills at Cortina Restaurant on the 29th of May!

Pasta has always been an iconic dish in Italian cuisine, and is a basic and versatile ingredient that can incorporate the season’s produce to make it a meal all year round.

The Tuscan Association of Queensland, along with Italian chef Vittorio Greco and his wife Barbara, will teach you how to make a variety of pasta from scratch, as well as the delicious accompanying sauces.

Throughout the day you will learn how to make pasta with and without egg, the proper preparation and cooking of pasta, the difference between fresh pasta and dried pasta and how to make complementary sauces. All who attend will have hands-on experience with recipe, preparation and cooking notes provided.

After perfecting your pasta skills, you can sit down to a delicious pasta meal and enjoy the authentic tastes over a glass of wine.
